Working Arrangement: Hybrid (expectation to be in our Berlin office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; exceptions are possible upon approval) 

Start Date: October 2026 onwards

We welcome applications from students who can spend part of their internship in Berlin .As this is an unpaid internship, we particularly encourage applications from candidates whose internship is: a mandatory requirement of their university curriculum; part of an Erasmus+ traineeship or another funded academic mobility programme.

Purpose 

The HR & Administration Intern will support the HR and Administration team in daily operations, recruitment activities, employee engagement initiatives, office administration, and event coordination. This internship provides practical experience in HR processes, administrative functions, and corporate event planning while offering valuable exposure to an international working environment.

Your tasks

Human Resources

  • Assist with recruitment by posting job vacancies,and scheduling interviews;
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation;
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases;
  • Assist with attendance, leave, and training records;
  • Support with reporting and sending letters
  • Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.

Administration

  • Manage office correspondence, filing systems, and documentation.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain calendars.
  • Support on preparing presentations, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate office supplies and inventory.
  • Provide general administrative support to different departments.
  • Welcome visitors and respond to general inquiries.

Event Organisation

  • Assist in planning and coordinating internal events, workshops, training sessions, networking events, and team-building activities.
  • Support event logistics, including venue arrangements, catering, materials, and equipment.
  • Coordinate invitations, registrations, and attendance lists.
  • Liaise with vendors and external service providers when required.
  • Assist with event setup, on-site coordination, and post-event evaluations.
  • Help prepare promotional materials and internal communications for events.

Your skills and experience

  • Currently pursuing degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Event Management, Social Sciences, Psychology, Philosophy or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Interest in human resources, administration, and event coordination.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are considered an asset.
