Democracy Reporting International (DRI) is a non-partisan, independent, not-for-profit organisation registered in Berlin. DRI promotes political participation of citizens, accountability of state bodies, and the development of democratic institutions worldwide.
DRI is currently recruiting a full-time Programme Manager for its Country Office in Sri Lanka. This is a short-term replacement position, which could be extended subject to funding.
In collaboration with, and under the supervision of the Director of Programmes or her assigned representative, you will provide oversight and management to the DRI Sri Lanka programme and be responsible for the planning, designing and implementation of all programme activities in accordance with the requirements of the grant giver and DRI, as well as regular reporting to DRI HQ in Berlin on project implementation and the political context. The Programme Manager also represents DRI in Sri Lanka, identifies opportunities for fundraising and the strategic development and consolidation of DRI’s programme in Sri Lanka. The Programme Manager is overall responsible for the management of the DRI Sri Lanka office.
